As a retail assistant at Officeworks Castle Hill I have multiple responsibilities, often dictated by what is required on the day.My primary role is floor staff, specialising in the technology department. I provide helpful and friendly advice to customers across a wide variety of technology, such as laptop, printers and mobile phones. Additionally, I update stock inventories and complete click and collect orders, whilst providing support to the POS staff when needed.I am also a member of the print and copy department, providing support and fulfilling shifts when required. In this department I am responsible for managing customers in-store and online orders, ensuring that print jobs, such as banners, booklets and canvases, are completed before their respective deadlines. Throughout this role, I maintain constant communication with my fellow team members in order to ensure that the team is working efficiently. In order to meet the high demand of print jobs, I collaborate with my team members to coordinate all the machines to work simultaneously to ensure that jobs are being completed efficiently and meet customer deadlines and expectations. When working with in-store customers, I am often challenged with new emerging issues, requiring me to quickly solve problems with the limited information I have been given. Additionally, I have developed strong time management skills through my role in the print and copy department, as often certain jobs cannot be completed on the spot, requiring me to book them in to pick up at a later time, requiring me to plan ahead whilst considering the existing deadlines.

As a computer science tutor, I was responsible for teaching over 70 students for a course in computer graphics (COMP3421). I was responsible for teaching multiple classes of students about the Unreal Engine and the Unity Engine. During each class, I taught students visual scripting principles, C# programming, graphical environment design, particle effects and virtual reality integration. Throughout the term, I guided and advised student groups to develop interactive graphical environments and virtual reality experiences. As part of my role as an academic tutor, I was also responsible for marking reports, presentations and assessing project and programming principles. Furthermore, I managed multiple teams of students and addressed technical and non-technical issues for students in-person and online in the forums. At the conclusion of the course, I received a 97% academic tutor rating from my students.
