The Launch Vehicle team is tasked with verifying aerodynamics and structural integrity to ensure a smooth flight and successful recovery. I was assigned with the design, integration and test of the nose cone, recovery and ground structures subsystems of UCI's first ever liquid bi-propellant (Methane/LOX) rocket to 9100 ft AGL.Currently, I am working on airframe components for UCI's second liquid bi-propellant rocket (MOCH4).

I have onboarded 9 members and hosted rocketry fundamental workshops. I spearheaded the development of solid-fueled rockets (to test the recovery system of our liquid-fueled competition rocket), establishing ground and flight testing formalities, leading weekly subteam meetings, delegating tasks, and managing the development process of multiple recovery subsystems for UCI's second liquid bi-propellant rocket.

I worked under the Integration, Test, and Launch (IT&L) directorate, supporting the Mechanical Engineering and Ground Support (MEGS) department at Space Park.In addition to the responsibilities from my previous role, I took ownership of the design and procurement of essential components for a mechanical proof test that verified flight hardware functionality.
