Business Change Accountant
Current- Preparation of all aspects of the Pension Fund statement of accounts including membership and investment notes, in line with the CIPFA code of practice - Quarterly accounts preparation for the Pension Fund - Preparation of all aspects of the Pension Fund annual report in line with CIPFA guidance- Management of the annual Pension Fund external audit to ensure smooth and timely operation - Lead oversight of all aspects of the Pension Fund accounting, both membership and investment - Oversight and management of Pension Fund cash flows including liquidity management to strike the balance between security, liquidity and yield - Completion and submission of statutory returns including quarterly ONS and annual SF3 - Writing reports for the Pension Committee and Board, including quarterly performance and annual accounts- Lead contact for third parties including custodian and investment manager’s - Procurement of custodian, investment consultant and actuarial services- Management and mentoring of junior staff - Supervision of the daily dealing of excess treasury cash and oversight of cash flows
