Steam & Power Generation Control Room Operator.I control and monitor the operation of the steam and power generation as well as water treatment facility. I work within a team setting to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment. I work with an optimization team to develop and commission brownfield projects to reduce OPEX costs and improve reliability. I have strong skills operating DeltaV DCS and Mark VI control systems. I fully support and follow Environmental, Health & Safety Programs. I thoughtfully look for ways to reduce green house gas emissions, prevent environmental impact, and ensure the safety of myself and coworkers. Oversee the operation:-Hot Lime Softener-Strong and Weak Acid Cation exchangers-MVC brine evaporator-Drum boilers-Once Through Steam Generator Boilers-85MW Gas Turbine and Heat Recovery Steam Generator(CoGen)

Commissioning and start up operator of the 35 000 bpd process expansion. This expansion included the start up of the oil processing training, water de-oiling system, utilities, and gas processing. I was directly involved in the safe turnover of equipment from construction using turnover of custody & control, permitting, and lock out/tag out. Once custody was transferred to operations, I lead in a team setting, the commissioning of equipment by inspecting, blowing out, flushing, and purging systems to ensure they were ready for production. Production was introduced into system and brought into safe, reliable, and efficient operation. I also assisted in the commissioning of the steam generation, water treatment facility and turbine.I continued working in greenfield & brownfield expansions, working on design, HAZOP's, construction, and commissioning.

Steam and Power Generation Control Room OperatorMain duty was to operate the steam plant including utilities and cogeneration as the panel operator. Provided guidance and training to other panel/unit operators. Other duties included approving work orders, submitting regulatory reports as required, ensured the overall safe and reliable operation of the facility. Monitored maintenance and outage schedules to ensure equipment has been safely and timely prepared. Assisted shift lead by assuming their various tasks and roles.

SAGD Facility. Operated Processing, Deoiling, Water Treatment, and Steam/Power Generation. Executed special tasks specific to each work area; chemical cleans, process trials etc. Ensured contractors were working in a safe environment and manner through safe work agreements and lock outs. Performed minor maintenance on equipment and instrumentation. Performed daily routine tasks such as rounds and housekeeping. Trained new employees in the operation of individual areas. Aided in later stages of commissioning process train and water treatment units.
