I am an artist, Uncle, and small business owner currently living in Princeton, New Jersey. My interests range from technology to arts. I am also interested in design, education, and innovation.Having been around art my whole life, I noticed that there were problems that needed to be fixed. In addition to a lack of regulation, there is opaqueness in pricing. Only 10 percent of artwork makes it to auctions and there is a real problem with rigging. My business involves pre-screening and the removal of anonymous bidding in order to make the process more streamlined and transparent. Since 2011, our team has assisted in selling pieces to 850+ families and small businesses.Prior to starting his own business, I was an exhibition curator in museums in New York City and taught an introductory art history course at a local high school on the lower east side in Manhattan. I have extensive experience as a director of art and in museum management. Some of my most exciting experiences have been in curatorial and fundraising efforts for museums. For three years, I was a service volunteer in the Museum Program for the arts in the state of New York. Having experience as a visual artist has led to many exhibitions and opportunities for me to provide showcases.I also worked for two years in our Van Wagenen family business as a customer service professional, primarily resolving strategic issues related to technology processes. I gained service and problem solving skills while working with our Fortune 500 clients. This experience helped my confidence in working with large firms and in what it's like to have great team dynamics in the business environment.
