Responsible for the delivery of client-facing website fulfillment deliverables, the Production Developer fulfills the website to scope, leveraging the Dealer Inspire platform based on WordPress. The Production Developer is a key member of the Production team, providing guidance and development recommendations to dealers and internal employees. Essential Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Utilize Dealer Inspire’s platform, WordPress and various front-end languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) to build complete development sites to scope;Possess a solid understanding of how OEM Compliance affects forms & requirements on DI sites;Test the site during development for usability and fix bugs;Maintain, create & update forms using the Gravity Forms plugin and understand basic XML syntax notifications that interface with client’s CRM;Work with dealers and internal employees to recommend plugins and third party code to meet build requirements for unsupported platform work;Continued personal education in current and emerging technologies.Required Skills:Strong understanding of WordPress - menu management, widget management, page templates, custom posts, and plugin management;Strong responsive HTML/CSS skills including grid systems (Bootstrap);Experience with responsive UX techniques;Detail oriented, very organized and punctual;Fast learner & interested in new technologies;The ability to remain cool under pressure.
