Manage the activities, resources, and personnel of the campus Microcomputer Support Team, provide leadership, technical expertise,.. Develop short and long-term goals and formulate strategies for team to ensure high quality customer service and support. Coordinate efforts with local, regional, and core UITS groups to standardize, unify and improve on processes and procedures. Assist in development of computer and technology policies and procedures that cross multiple units and affect technology support for the Northwest campus. Serve as a critical campus IT contact 24/7 for computing delays or interruptions, assign and coordinate appropriate resources, and provide direction for prompt, appropriate, resolution when the director is unavailable or out of the office. Under minimal supervision, demonstrate proficiency for advanced system management skills, technical design, training, analysis, programming, and other tasks related to the implementation, development and architecture of Workplace Deployment and Device Management; including but not limited to: Enterprise System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Jamf Casper, and Deploy Studio services at Indiana University Northwest. Along with participating in cross-group collaborations to assist in unification and alignment of processes and procedures of Indiana University Northwest with that of other regional and core campus sites involving services and resources such as but not limited to Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Deploy Studio, and Jamf Casper. Participates in the research and troubleshooting of, complex issues within the campus Workplace Deployment and Device Management environments. Develop and document procedures related to the campus Workplace Deployment and Device Management Solution. Standardize and automate repeatable tasks and steps while providing expert guidance and mentoring to more junior team members.

Provide leadership and technical expertise in the support of over 500 student PC systems. Create, maintain, and troubleshoot windows based images for student classrooms and labs. Troubleshoot PC hardware and preform repairs as necessary. Hire and train student employees.
