While working for Aegon/Transamerica, I experienced many different roles. Starting in retirement services, I provided investment counseling for defined contribution plans. Following that position I joined an accounting rotation program where I did investment reporting primarily dealing with impairments and accretion, then joined the market consistent team. My final role with the company was as an investment analyst with the pricing and performance team of Aegon Asset Management. In this role I worked on developing monthly performance and attribution calculations to help the company build stronger portfolios.
