I worked with a producer, editor and sound recorder, to create a short documentary film about a local business and its owner, following the production process used in making a professional documentary. * Interviewed a large amount of people, including crew members, interview subjects and bystanders on a free-form, flexible shooting schedule* Devised creative solutions to difficult production situations, saving crew 3 hours of shooting time

Final project in my MA studies."A Letter" tells the story of a young man, who has been going through a rough patch with his girlfriend, finding his grandpa's diary and learning about the trials his relationship went through. Directed by Jack Liang.On this project, my task was to edit the final five minutes of the film, from the scene after the young girl's narration ends to the conclusion of the film. I worked in tandem with the editor to create the final cut.* Compiled and catalogued select dailies into sound-synced and transcoded string-outs for easy viewing and access, saving around three hours of work for editor* Collaborated with lead editor in mixing two multi-camera sequences into a cohesive whole

Being forced to wear a sheet, and having issues with body positivity, she decides to create her own, much to the frustration of Death's personal tailor.I worked with a co-producer and screenwriter, as well as a twenty-person crew, to create a short film, following the production process used in the film making industry. * Managed a large crew of twenty people by communicating tasks, resolving conflicts on setand ensuring project remained on-time and on-budget* Communicated with around 75 people, including professors, classmates, Performing Arts students and Film dept. admin., gaining all materials necessary to achieve project’s creative goals

Class project recreating/ reinterpreting the opening scene of "Forrest Gump", where Forrest introduces himself to a lady while waiting at a bus stop. Bound by the original dialogue, directors were free to change anything else in pursuit of their vision. For shooting days, directors formed two groups of four and were required to go through the complete film production process, including conceptualization, casting, permitting, prop and equipment acquisition and post-production. All four films had to shoot within three days.* Facilitated production of four short films within a three-month time frame, eighteen-hour shooting schedule and rotating crew* Directed a professional-level short film following the production process used in the film making industry

However, Spike soon realizes, he's not the only supernatural being."* Investigated work of artists, creators and subjects in 15 weekly slides that served as key reference points in the visual development and production process* Suggested editing and pacing during pre-production that cut 3 minutes, helping improve timing and emotional effect*Developed and animated complex rigged characters and effects, shortening production process by 2 hours a week
