Simply put, I'm a pilot. I started flying aircraft at the age of fourteen, and haven't looked back. I've done some interesting things in my life and developed some out of the box skills, but aviation is my first love and the main focus of my career. I earned my private pilot certificate at eighteen, and went to a trade school in East Texas where I earned my instrument rating, commercial certificate, and my certified flight instructor certificate. Leaving school I went to work for two different flight schools in Texas, one in Denton and the other in San Antonio, where I also earned my CFII and my commercial multi-engine certificate.When the company I was working for in San Antonio dissolved, I took the next step in my career and dived into the world of Part 135 cargo operations. I soon found myself in Kansas City, Missouri, flying Cessna 210's hauling a wide variety of cargo.A year in that position lead to the job I have been blessed to hold for the last twelve plus years; flying C-208 Caravans for Baron Aviation, a FedEx Feeder operation. Over the last dozen years I have flown nearly ten thousand hours in the Caravan, flown in all weather imaginable, and developed a healthy respect for the sturdy 208. I have also during this job been able to earn my Single Engine ATP certificate. Working for Baron, a company I'm proud to say I'm a member of, has been a blessing and afforded me the ability to achieve quite a few dreams; including having a family and making some fantastic friends.But all good things come to an end, and life is a journey of chapters. It's time for the next chapter. And that chapter is, I hope, getting to achieve my life long dream of flying business jets.
