I manage a great team of agents within our 2 locations in Minnesota. We are a very successful storefront travel agency with strong roots in the community. During our 40+ years in business, we have made our clients' dreams come true and sent them all over the world. Through continuing education and cutting-edge technology, we will continue to serve our clients at a high level for many years to come. I am personally honored and fortunate to have been selected by Travel Leaders Network to serve on their Affiliate Advisory Board through 2023, representing over 35,000 hard working agents in our industry. In addition, I am a member of TAMS- the travel industry's leading training and leadership group. We discuss our business in-depth and help each other improve our grasp on what happening in travel and what is coming in the future. Without question, it has improved my business exponentially. Charitable giving: giving back has been very important to our community involvement and we continue to give to many charities throughout the area. I have volunteered on numerous boards, committees and have served as chair of several of these boards. I believe in a positive, transparent message to motivate those around me. I am very proud and humbled to have been chosen by our Chamber of Commerce as the Thief River Falls Volunteer of the Year and am currently Chair of the Thief River Falls Independent School District #564 School Board. I am also a founding Chair of the Thief River Falls Downtown Development Association, which I held for 5 consecutive years and a past Chair of the Thief River Falls Chamber of Commerce.

I was re-elected to another four-year term that began January of 2024.MREA brings together teachers, administrators and school board members from across Greater Minnesota and partners with education cooperatives, higher education, nonprofits, businesses and community members. MREA serves school districts by advocating for the issues that matter to them, communicating changes and the impact they’ll have and providing high-quality professional development and networking.A grassroots organization, MREA was founded in 1985 by a group of school board members and administrators who believed non-metro school districts needed a focused voice in St. Paul to represent every student around the state.

The Foundation invests in people. We provide the opportunity for a quality education to many promising students who otherwise could not afford to attend. We supply grants to Northland Community & Technical College (Northland) programs, enabling them to remain current in equipment and technology. We also seek to ensure that our facilities continue to meet the needs of our students and programs.
