Improvement highlights: Concentrate burner life increased from 150,000T to 350,000T average. Established daily process review protocol to eliminate process upset setbacks and bottlenecks. Ensure safe operation and environmental compliance requirements were met. Developed Mechanical Integrity checks for furnaces to ensure full campaign life of equipment was realized. Training and technical support for Operations Superintendents, Supervisors and control room specialists. Define feed blending strategies to blend concentrates to optimize furnace production, utlize recycled cleanup materials and manage future concentrate grade changes. Developed standard operating procedures for safe startup/shutdown and steady state operation control for Flash Smelting and Converting operation and ancillary equipment.
