In 2010, I got hired at inMusic Brands (previous Numark LLC.) as a product specialist. I was promoted to become a project manager to manage projects under a newly acquired brand (Alto Professional). I spent most of the time on working with USA colleagues to coordinate daily communication with our contracted manufacturers in China, follow up project details especially monitoring schedule and cost, and visit contracted manufacturers on site to check production process and assure the quality meets our standard. In early 2012 to 2014, I took on additional job function to be a sale manager for APAC market when there was an internal opportunity. While working on developing the product to actually sell the product to the distributor, externally I could explain more details to customer from the design and company strategy, giving suggestion on considering both customer and demand of our organization. Inside of the company, to provide feedback from the market to the company to consider different factors on developing products. And work with teams to set aggressive but realistic forecast to keep the business growing and manage the stock at a reasonable risk level. In late 2015, I decided to focus on enhancing my capability for project development which is the ground of my career. I volunteered to take on the project manager of ION Audio when the job was open. I quickly adjusted myself to fit in the fast development pace which is necessary for a consumer electronics brand. On the other hand, I put more efforts on sourcing products and brainstorming with the team for new product ideas. I‘ve also worked with the team to manage supply chain requirement from the major customers.Personally, as to expand my knowledge in management, I studied and got a Professional Project Management and PMI Professional in Business Analysis certificate. In short, I am a quick learner, a highly self-motivated person with the flexibility to any challenge ahead.
