Under the mentorship of Assistant Professor Roy Ka-Wei Lee, I worked on multimodal LMMs just before my senior year and investigated to what extent do these models comprehend humor.Some of the experiences that I gathered:• Conducted extensive literature review about the theories in humor and examined how they can help Large Multimodal Models (LMMs) understand humor.• Collected data and built a dataset of 28000 comics for research whilst ensuring the anonymity of identifiable information.• Crafted surveys for human and LMM annotations for quantitative and qualitative analysis.• Designed the methodology and experiments to conduct a comparative study between humans and LMMs to assess the gap in understanding humor.

• Utilized state of the art LLMs such as Code Llama to analyze and detect code vulnerabilities. • Explore LLM frameworks such as the Graph of Thoughts to solve elaborate problems in a cyber security context.• Extensively used LangChain to develop applications that integrates LLMs to perform Retrieval Augmented Generations.• Automated prompt engineering techniques into the developed application such as chain of thoughts to improve model outputs.

I was a teaching assistant for the module [10.014] Computational Thinking for Design. My main job scope include teaching small groups of students focused on Python and computing concepts. Through my work, I learnt how to prepare creative questions for upcoming classes that tests Python and computing concepts. Additionally, I further refined my teaching and communication skills when I interact with the students.
