I have a BSc (hons) aquaculture and fisheries management from Sparsholt college, Hampshire. A prolific institute within the niece industry. Some of my true interests have always been fish health and aquatic ecology based. I currently work in a life sciences laboratory for Anglian water. Routine work includes microscopy for flora, fauna and grams staining for bacterial identification within clean water and waste water samples. I also process and read microbiology samples, E. coli, cool forms, enterococci, pseudomonas and clostridium, utilising multiple methods! I process and read cryptosporidium samples, utilising fluorescence microscopy techniques! All of this is done to ensure there is no risk to human health within the water industry.I have a keen passion for angling which is a reason for my keen interests within these industries. I believe that choosing a job I am interested in will lead me to excel and progress with my career choices. I am looking to further my experience within relevant industries and am open to learning many more skills.
