In this position I tutor middle school and high school students in Mathematics in after school sessions. I assist them with their learning and understanding of content for General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics to help them to achieve their best in their assessment pieces. This is a very enjoyable position as it helps to improve my teaching skills and is very rewarding when I help students to understand a concept that they were previously struggling with.

MXB161: Computational ExplorationsCAB201: Programming Principles

I was awarded a Vaction Research Scholarship from AMSI which I completed over the summer holidays. I completed a six week research project exploring the topic, "Extracting Insight Into Advection-Dispersion Processes Through Moment Analysis", under the guidance of Dr Elliot Carr. As a part of the project I was required to write a technical report of my findings and also attended the AMSI Connect conference in Melbourne to present my research to the other scholars. This was a great experience to develop my skills in researching, report writing, and presenting and it also developed my knowledge of how mathematics can be used to model real world scenarios.
