● Lead the research project to complete field studies and sampling of the endangered Oregon Forest Snail to assess the environmental variables of their habitat.● Field activities included plant identification, soil testing with sensors, habitat environment assessments and tagging of snails.● Data collection of atmospheric conditions, GPS locations and soil characteristics.● Statistical Analysis to determine variables important to the Oregon Forest Snail in order to protect their population.● Preparation of a written report of findings to be presented to the Kwaykwetlam First Nations, BCIT, SFU and Metro Vancouver Regional Parks.● Coordinated with both First Nations and Metro Vancouver Regional parks to establish research direction, policy development, permitting and project budget.
