I am a passionate Developer with a degree in Software Engineering. I continually performed to a high standard throughout my years at University, which enabled me to achieve a 2:1. I excelled at the more hands on units, such as: Web Design and Application Development. I also proved early on that I was dependable in a working environment during our Computing in Business week, where the year group was split into small teams of differing roles and worked together to create a fully functional website and mobile application.I have acquired 3 years experience at Intouch Accounting and King Edward VI. During this time I have gained experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery, PHP and SQL. I have also worked extensively on PHP frameworks including CodeIgnitier, Bootstrap and WordPress. I have also acquired core business skills, ensuring I can handle the pressures of tight deadlines, communicating effectively with co-workers and balancing my workload.My self-determination to continually improve ensures that my knowledge and skills continually expand.

In April I decided to hand in my notice at Intouch and relocate home to Cornwall, where I was raised and both mine and my partners families still live.I came to an agreement with Intouch to extend my employment for 6 months, from 1st July 2019 - 31st December 2019, working remotely from Cornwall.My main responsibility during this extension is to document the Intouch Portal, enabling Brookson (Our parent company) and any new Developers who join the company to understand how every aspect of our Portal works.The project will have it's own obstacles to overcome, especially as I have never worked remotely before, and I am excited to tackle them head on.
