During my time in the Parachute Regiment I learnt many skills based around military life, Also i have gained many transferable skills which have aided me in progressing into a successful career on 'Civvie Street'. I have travelled the world in my time in the Military, from the Falkland Islands to Kenya, The United States working with the 82nd Airborne, and a lot of time building relationships at Battalion level with many different forces around Europe, from working with with French Paratroopers… Show more During my time in the Parachute Regiment I learnt many skills based around military life, Also i have gained many transferable skills which have aided me in progressing into a successful career on 'Civvie Street'. I have travelled the world in my time in the Military, from the Falkland Islands to Kenya, The United States working with the 82nd Airborne, and a lot of time building relationships at Battalion level with many different forces around Europe, from working with with French Paratroopers to their Armoured Infantry Divisions, to working with light role Spanish Paratroopers (Paracaidista) I have been lucky enough to get involved in Remembrance descents such as the D-Day anniversary in Normandy, where I jumped and landed on the Breville cross roads, A drop zone many Paratroopers landed on, on that day in 1944, Another one was in Arnhem Remembering Operation Market Garden which signified the final push into German territory. I have enjoyed my time in The Parachute Regiment, and wouldn't change my experience for the world, but it was my time to leave and pursue my career as a Recruitment Consultant. Show less
