My life purpose is to help people. My passion is to do that in emergency, recreational, educational, or wilderness settings through embracing leadership, mentorship, and learning situations. I value the human experience, the human spirit, adventure, and leadership.Hired after graduation from Western Colorado University, I've had the opportunity to build and develop sustainable systems within Western Campus Recreation. My position oversees the 5 functional areas of Campus Recreation - the Mountaineer Field House, Mountain Sports, Wilderness Pursuits, Cub Sports, and Intramural Sports - primarily supervising and supporting the professional staff that oversee those areas. I have the honor of working with 120+ employees, both professional and student-based and have been managing and building successful systems in relation. On Western Mountain Rescue I lead and train in intensive emergency situations. I represent the team in a senior leadership position and build systems for sustainable growth in the future. My skill set is versatile and driven by learning. I believe in personal growth and development while leading and developing those I work with.
