The Carlin Processing team is accountable for Safe Operation of the various plants within the NGM Carlin complex. Accountable for Processing, Maintenance and Engineering for the plants. With a combination of 2 Roaster plants, 1 Autoclave plant, 1 concentrator and 3 CIC-HL facilities Carlin processes feed from up to 14 mines, targeting approximately 1.8 Moz Gold per annum. My primary role within the team is to foster a culture whereby the various managers can perform their accountabilities to the best of their ability.

Accountable to lead a team who safely, sustainably and profitably operate the Wetar Mine Site.The Wetar operation mines three separate ore types within the same mining areas. Copper ore is processed on site producing Copper Cathode, whilst Pyrite Ore is crushed and shipped to our acid plant in Sulawesi. Gold Ore is stockpiled for potential future value.Accomplishments of the team:- returned the operation to profitability- design and rollout of "WeSafe" safety culture program- through targeted programs, improved the health care, educational outcomes and general quality of life for the villages of Wetar Island - in order to offset lowering feedgrades and unfavourable mineralogy/recovery, increased mining rates by more than double, including increased fleet size and significant productivity improvement- Increased local/Wetar based employees from 40 to 60%, ensuring compliance with government commitments- gender equality program achieved >50% female mining operators- step change improvement in legacy acid mine drainage issue. 2 rivers returned to legal environmental compliance- rollout of Critical Risk Management program

Accountable for safe sustainable Gold Production from the Lihir 15Mtpa Refractory Gold Ore Processing plant. (900-1000 koz per annum).Overseeing all technical and operational aspects of the SAG-float-autoclave-CIL processing plant.Major Activities and Accomplishments of the team-Overseeing Covid-19 management within the processing team- Overseeing OEE projects in the grinding, Autoclaves and CIL circuits. Significant throughput increases achieved.- Restructuring the org chart and right sizing the leadership team in order to create greater accountability.

Responsible for safety, production and cost in the mining, processing and maintenance functions across the operation.Major Accomplishments of the team- Overseeing ramp up of mining rates (triple historical) including the introduction of a second mining contractor- Driving gender equality in an African site. Most recent achievement is the inclusion of women working on night shift in operational roles.- Increasing the percentage of Congolese Nationals in Superintendent and management roles including complete nationalisation of the Processing & Metallurgy departments- Sustaining high copper production outputs - very high asset utilisation achieved

Accountable for Safe, Sustainable Production. Oxide Copper - SAG, Agitated Leach, SX, EW.Responsible for department of 160 Operators and technical staff. Working in conjunction with other heads of department to ensure successful implementation of Mine site business plan.Major Accomplishments- In partnership with site leadership team, continually developing site safety culture which has seen a significant reduction in TRIFR- With a focus on operational discipline, led the Processing team to deliver 130% of nameplate production within 2 years of achieving nameplate, with no significant capital upgrades.- Sustainable increase in EW current efficiency from approx 87% to > 91% with the eventual removal of expatriates from EW supervision positions.- Year on year reduction in processing costs per tonne of copper produced- 50% Reduction in department Expatriates- Seconded to MMG Operational Excellence facilitating the role out of MOS (Management Operating System) at Las Bambas Mine - Peru.

Accountable for the technical (metallurgy) and process control performance of Zn Pb Concentrator. Responsible for team of 11 professionals. Working in partnership with operations superintendent to achieve safe production targets over medium and long term.Major Accomplishments:- No Recordable Injuries within department- Led technical team to de-bottleneck Regrind cleaner circuit allowing overall plant feed to increase from 80 Zn Metal units to greater than 100 Zn Metal units per operating hour.- With declining head grades towards mine closure, led a technical staff to implement mill throughput from 800tpoh to >950 tpoh without significant capital investment- following increased throughput, led a study, which was later implemented to upgrade rougher capacity and other bottlenecks in the downstream circuit to allow throughput to increase above 1000tpoh- Year on year reductions in power and reagent consumptions per tonne of Zn produced- "MMG Rep" for HazOp and design review workshops for the Dugald River Zn Pb Concentrator Project
