I promote Crime Prevention to residents of the City of Toronto. I also look after the Social Media Accounts for 23 Division, as well as educate youths on how to be more responsible and aware. I conduct Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED)CPTED is a crime prevention approach based on a theory that the built environment influences the behaviour of people. The proper design and effective use of the built environment can lead to a reduction in the incidence and fear of crime, thereby improving the quality of life. CPTED involves the design of the physical space relative to the needs of the users the normal use of the space the predictable behaviour of the users of the space. Crime decreases if the opportunity to commit the crime is reduced or eliminated. CPTED works by eliminating criminal opportunities in and around your property. This can result in your property being a less appealing target.I over see our Auxiliary members stationed at 23 Division and Coordinate Crime Prevention initiatives for them to partake in.

Attended calls for assistance from Doctors, Nurses and staff members while they were dealing with patients.Assisted mental health staff members with deescalating violent patients, and restraining them if needed.Admitted and released bodies from the morgue.Patrolled floors, stairwells, and parking lot ensuring the safety of the staff and visitors.Enforced parking bi-laws to ensure emergency vehicles could enter without issues.

Stationed at Markville Shopping Center.Conducted patrols of Mall, stairwells, and parking lots.Attended theft calls, enforced the Trespass to Property Act, dealt with disorderly patrons, and ensured that stores were properly secured.
