With over 15 years of experience in the Royal Air Force (RAF), I am a Defence Airspace and Air Traffic Manager with a NVQ Level 2 in Aviation Operations on the Ground. I have a wide range of skills and expertise in aviation operations, air traffic control, and airspace regulation, which I apply to support the RAF's objectives and operations with professionalism, integrity, and excellence.In my current role, I plan, coordinate, and execute tactical data links across the UK and overseas, using forward planning, communications, attention to detail, data collection, analysis, and quick thinking. I have also worked as an ATC and an Airspace Assistant (Technical), where I managed and regulated the airspace, ensured the safety and efficiency of flights, and notified of unusual aerial activity. I am a valuable member of a team, but equally effective in an independent role. My mission is to contribute to the defence and security of the UK and its allies through effective and efficient air operations.
