Product leader, responsible for breaking into hospital market. Strategy for combining acquisition, partnerships and internal R&D allowed initial customers to go live within 6 months of project approval.

Lead revamp of relationship and support life cycle for largest clients, enabling growth of segment from 20% of client base to 50%+. Incubated teams of deep product experts to support distinct phases in customer life, from pre-sale to termination risk.

Provided overall direction to athenahealth's largest product, including market focus, service expansions and R&D investments. Revamped pricing model across product lines, improving close rates in group segment 25% while increasing revenue per client. Stabilized recent acquisition following failed initial integration.

Consolidated and standardized team across products and service areas. Established common cultural and process tenets, raised team profile and grew team from 4 to 35 people. Responsible for portfolio planning, and ensuring business impact of a broad array of programs, ranging from consumer workflows to scaling of back-office services. Personally lead company's first SAS70 audit, defining framework and protocols leading to multiple years of exception-free audit.

Established offshore, captive subsidiary which provided tight alignment with local BPO partner, platform for experimental operations, and software development/QA. Oversaw strategy definition, legal incorporation, site selection and build-out, hiring of initial team and alignment into US management.

Got things done, playing almost every possible role during formative period for company's R&D team: developer, QA lead, business analyst, program manager, team lead. Developed processes from bug triage to product planning to client rollout, as Agile was coming of age.
