Systems Engineer Senior Staff
Current* Leads Commercial-Civil Space (CCS) strategy development which has necessitated interface with other multiple LM Space lines of business including MilSpace, Central Space-Advanced Programs Directorate, LM Ventures (corporate), and several other organizations.* As systems engineering lead and deputy program manager for the Lunar Vertical Solar Array Technology (LVSAT) program, delivered results by making effective decisions as I gathered and analyzed information (modeling/simulations), took input from relevant stakeholders (customers and adjacent program leads), and made effective, timely technical decisions which led to successful program execution, very satisfied customer, and led to a successful follow-on Option Period win (over $5M in Customer-Funded Research and Development [CRAD]) for the effort.* Led efforts to grow skills for the future: met with LM's Digital Transformation team to assess where LVSAT could enhance their digital performance and streamline work; aligned with higher level strategy by leveraging common products and driving commonality (from the LM Lunar Mobility Vehicle, LM2100, IRAD efforts, and others); embraced the OneLM culture by finding ways in which LVSAT could advance other programs' efforts (i.e. by creating a common Lunar Dust Mitigation Strategy that was applicable for use by LMV, HLS, etc.)* Modeled Personal Excellence, Integrity and Accountability as the deputy program manager for the Commercial LEO Destinations (CLD) proposal [NASA] which became known as "Starlab" (this is the follow-on to the International Space Station). Sought out critical feedback on my first-ever attempts at newly created programmatic documents and demonstrated willingness to admit uncertainty in order to get better feedback. This led to a high trust, inclusive environment that was conducive to both learning and a high level of performance.* Leads System Integration for the Cognitive Mission Manager (CMM) effort, which leverages AI to fight fires.
