I teach figure skating and hockey power skating lessons to all ages and abilities. I have 15+ years of teaching experience. I am a US Figure Skating 3x Gold Medalist in Free Skate, Moves in the Field, and Ice Dance in addition to passing my Novice Solo Free Dance and Intermediate Pairs tests. I am a Professional Skaters Association member and have passed my Registered Free Skate and Moves in the Field exams along with my Hockey 1 & 2 Accreditation.

I started in this position manufacturing face shields to help during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was promoted to Lead, helping manage face shield production and other projects. My roles included marketing, project management, personnel, and inventory tracking.

Over 12 years, I planned, designed, and delivered quality recreation programs and community services as Supervisor of Sports & Wellness programs and Fort Missoula Regional Park. I strategically managed diverse, impactful, and inclusive special events, facilities, adult and youth programs, and wellness activities. All aspects of the jobs described above included extensive interaction with, and customer service provided to, a community passionate about their recreational experiences.My work experience involved professional organization of people, documents, and programs. As a supervisor, I effectively managed 3 full-time, and 30-60 intermittent staff each season while providing logistics for large events such as Montana Senior Olympics, park grand openings, and pickleball tournaments. Served as President of the Missoula Figure Skating Club from 2009-2011 and Vice President from 2007-2009. • Created and facilitated a Competition Committee my first year as President which led to the creation of our now-annual Glacier Challenge figure skating competition. The event is currently the premier figure skating competition in Montana. • Worked closely with the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) to design and facilitate the first-ever Montana State Workshop bringing together local and regional coaches for educational seminars, presentations, and demonstrations. • Directed and assisted with all aspects of our annual special event, the Showcase on Ice, for 5 years • Worked closely with the Glacier Ice Rink (GIR) to schedule ice time throughout the skating season. Improved relationship between the Missoula Figure Skating Club and GIR through cross-promotion of and cross-participation in programs (figure skating, hockey, and public). • Recruited, trained, and worked with many volunteers to administer special events such as our Bring-a-Friend Day, Holiday on Ice show, Spring Skating Spectacular, Showcase on Ice, and Glacier Challenge competition. • Coordinated and facilitated free skating and registration for 300-500 participants at our annual “Bring-a-Friend” and “It’s Great to Skate” Day. • Designed and introduced new programs to the club including, Power Skating classes, Learn to Skate Basic Skills Competitors Ice, early and late season Learn to Skate Basic Skills classes. • Created and administered season-extending Learn to Skate Basic Skills programs in response to the longer rink season and to address the growing needs of skaters. We now offer expanded, shoulder-season classes and teach learn to skate basic skills 10 months out of the year. • Managed a budget of over $75,000 both years as President.
