In October 2017 I decided to quit the Singapore Institute of Technology degree program for Chemical Engineering to pursue my passion in Cinematography and Film. In February 2018 I was hired as a Camera Assistant and Assistant Editor for August Pictures PTE LTD and have been working with them ever since. Since then, I've been to Korea and Russia on assignment as a Camera Assistant and 2nd Camera respectively. In August 2018 I had the privilege of going to Russia for a month as a 2nd camera for Toggle original series, Beijing to Moscow, shooting both B roll and the opening title sequence. I have also been a Camera Assistant on several info-documentary shoots for Mediacorp.I've designed several official TV Drama posters, as well as managed and designed the motion graphics for 'Teenage Textbook: The Search' and 'Truths about us' for Mediacorp and Viddsee respectively, including creating the opening title sequence for 'Truths about us'. My role as a Video Editor at Charles & Keith was more nuanced and specialized. Having had to not only put footage together, but color correct and grade, as well as sound design multiple projects within tight deadlines. Outside of my job scope as an Editor, I took on assisting the videographer and at times, shooting as well. This included lighting the set.
