Current-Established and built a new division of a K to 12 school for young adults with disabilities-Developed curricula for classes that include Finance, Literacy, Career Skills, Travel Skills, and Independent Living-Delivered instruction with modified and differentiated materials-Implemented evidence-based practices to inform instruction-Coordinated student schedules, including classes, internships, and related services-Developed and cultivated regular community partnerships-Supervised a team and provided feedback in order to support professional growth-Served on the core administration team-Ran regular divisional faculty meetings-Worked regularly with educational lawyers, prepared affidavits, and testified at impartial hearings on behalf of students and families-Developed decks and presented at open houses for professionals and prospective families in order to promote the program-Organized and ran regular family-education events on transition services
