I work as a Teacher/Monitor in introductory web development classes in a university extension group. This front aims to teach the basics of web development to newcomers to USP's Computing courses.I have mentored more than 30 students in full-stack web development, guiding them through the process of developing their first web applications. Focused on gathering and modeling requirements and developing new features for an internal project.[Project: Opus Software - Reimbursement]Opus Software - Reimbursement is a reimbursement management system for the Human Resources (HR) department, to automate repetitive and stressful tasks related to the reimbursement of receipts, vouchers, and invoices.I took part in the entire process of creating the tool, from the first meetings to gather requirements, to prototyping via figma and frontend and backend development, while complying with business rules and generating minimal technical debt. I opened and reviewed Pull requests identifying bugs and possible code improvements through refactoring, and modeled BPMN workflows using Camunda which facilitated communication in meetings reducing feedback time. In addition, I was responsible for creating and developing scrips and the entire configuration of Amazon Web Services (AWS) using S3 to upload receipts and invoices to the tool. Focus on developing new flows, maintaining minor bugs, and improving the user's conversational experience with the chatbot.[Project: Chatbot for a large company in the energy sector]This project aimed to replace the company's old bot with a new one which should reproduce its main features, as well as ensure the bot's continuous improvement by dealing with alternative flows and responses.I participated in the development of the chatbot which, after its deployment, handled a volume of more than 1000 customer interactions a day. I created small Javascript scripts within the BLIP platform to apply business rules and implemented the Retry design pattern which reduced API failures by 75% and increased user satisfaction.
