Wide array of development responsibilities based on the product demands at a given time. These range from helping to architect the API in Ruby, to creating and maintaining multiple single page apps (using AngularJS primarily) for each of our customers' unique demands. I also created a PHP plugin for the LMS Moodle, when customers on that platform wanted to integrate.I am involved at every stage from project planning to ongoing maintenance, and have a strong relationship with the development team and with our customers.

BluePerch was a mobile app for finding jobs. We eliminated the searching process so users could spend their time choosing and applying for jobs.As CTO, I created and managed the intelligence applications that would allow BluePerch to deliver quality opportunities directly to the job seeker's mobile phone. Though I was developing an API myself, I spent the majority of this brief period applying for a research grant and speaking with NLP and machine learning graduates about how to make the predictions work. I also managed a contract iOS developer and took my second dive into iOS development.

Created a new online approach to the job application process. As technical cofounder, I was in charge of aligning all of the technical features we developed with the overall mission and value proposition of the company. This involved full-stack development of the entire website and API. We eventually started to come back to the drawing board, requiring me to become adept at creating rapid, flexible AngularJS prototypes and spin up servers to host more than one new site a week. This was also my first exposure to web scraping.

- Redesigned process automation, reducing running times by half, based on research and code practices- Designed and created a customized implementation of Rational Team Concert for a global department of over 200 employees, using software engineering principles and existing experience with RTC- Trained 10 champions, local and off-shore, to use the new system and also to train their team members

- Managed ten student teams throughout 4 months, providing weekly feedback on students’ progress in each learning module- Critiqued presentations in case format (proposing and justifying a technology to a firm) based on past experience both in the classroom and in case competitions

- Adapted an existing web software for an experimental study using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript- Assisted with designing and implementing four research projects concurrently using knowledge of Marketing, Statistics and Psychology experimental design principles- Collaborated with an international academic advisor remotely via multiple communication channels and a custom development environment

- Reinvented the conference’s registration system (including its database) using technical, organizational and management skills allowing the cataloguing of over 1200 delegates’ information- Collaborated with other committee members when re-designing the online registration guide to ensure that all major stakeholders had input in early stages and gave feedback on the prototype- Transitioned to my successor through an extensive report and open email contact throughout the year
