After putting ALBANY llc on standby, I took some time to reflect on my first entrepreneurial experience. I learned a lot about how I work and what I'm truly passionate about, and began to realize that although I have the drive of an entrepreneur, i'm not a lone wolf; I thrive in a group environment where collaboration is king, where ideas can be shared and compounded upon with like minded and driven individuals, and where everyone can maximize their talents for the good of the venture. After a month of soul searching, I was approached by a peer to be their Marketing Director for a venture they were building. After long consideration and soul searching, ESLO llc and its team became the environment I could thrive in. ESLO llc is looking to utilize some of our team members family-owned manufacturing assets to create a startup focused on creating hand crafted dress and casual shoes. We will begin by selling quality dress and casual children's shoes, as that is what our manufacturing is currently optimized to produce, and fund our first production run through a Kickstarter campaign. After successful completion of our campaign and the establishment of a sustainable e-commerce site, we hope to invest back into our company and begin work on crafting quality men's dress and casual shoes.

To sustain myself during the pursuit of my entrepreneurial ventures, I work full time at Sun King Brewing Company, the second largest brewery in the state. Having been a start up themselves just 6.5 years ago and a huge success ever since, I knew their entrepreneurial culture would compliment my drive and spirit. Sun King's goal since day one was to be Indiana's beer, and they are well on their way to becoming that; In 2016 they are looking to finally be sold in all parts of Indiana thanks to strong third-part and self distribution. I assist Sun King in achieving their ambitious goal by working in their tasting room, where I have grown from a part time to full time employee. My role is three fold: I assist the sales and ordering department by processing invoices, act as a supervisor in the tasting room by managing part time employees and maintaining facilities, and run the Tour Training Program. I truly love Sun King, and have done everything from mopping floors to running entire programs. I'm thankful for my time here, and continue to help them achieve their goal of becoming Indiana's beer.

ALBANY llc was the culmination of six years of inspiration and growth towards a single idea - providing creative and bold individuals with uniquely designed shoes that help them scream their individuality to the world. After almost a year of work and researching both traditional and untraditional manufacturing methods (manufacturers in China and 3D printing companies both national and international) I decided to put ALBANY shoes on standby until these manufacturing routes opened up better opportunities that were not yet available. As I waited, I began building a business plan for a homebrewing website that would provide enthusiastic homebrewers with a one-on-one branding and logo design service, and on the same site, allow them to browse and purchase homebrewing products that would have their new logo put on them. This venture, which on one side will utilize professional graphic designers and on the other consolidate trusted homebrewing product providers, would create a one-stop-shop ecommerce site for homebrewers and provide them a unique way to completely personalize their homebrewing experience.For inquires, please email me at ryaneldridge91@gmail.com

My position as a Co-Coordinator for the Alternative Breaks Program focuses on overseeing the logistics and implementation of an Alternative Fall Break trip and five Alternative Spring Break trips. My co-coordinator and I personally planned, marketed, and lead this years Fall Alternative Break trip, which went to Knob Noster, MO and participated in direct at a local state park. We focused on clearing out invasive species and trail maintenance. Recently, we are oversaw the planning of five trips that went out during this years Spring Break to participate in direct and meaningful service in communities across the United States. We mentored and assisted seven scholars in planning each trip which focused on a particular social issue. Along with a co-trip leader, I lead a trip to Mission, South Dakota where my team and I worked with the Lakota tribe on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. We assisted the Tree of Life Ministries in their four different ministries - thrift shop, food pantry, construction, and food delivery. Along with these responsibilities, I also took the initiative to create a branding scheme for the program, as they have never had an official one before. This included creating a logo, color scheme, key-word focus for marketing messages, fonts, etc. Along with this, I created all marketing material for both the Fall and Spring trips, as well just general promotion material.

As a Kelley Research Assistant, you work in tandem with a Kelley professor on a particular research topic. I researched digital marketing concepts and theories for professor Mark Mayer to help him begin the process of building an experiment that focuses on how current marketing theories can be applied to the digital sphere. I sifted through large amounts of information in professional databases and accumulated marketing theories so that I could filter them down to two or three core theories that could be used in an experiment. Kristin Pierce, a fellow Research Assistant, and I were featured on Kelley Indianapolis's website for our work.

I joined the DigitalRelevance team when it was still known as Slingshot SEO. During my 4 months there I had the unique opportunity to witness the introduction of the DigitalRelevance sister brand, of a new CEO taking leadership, and the company implementing stock options for its employees. I worked closely with the Client Success Managers on various projects. My responsibilities included revamping their client list and contract info, creating a new intern handbook, and creating and assisting with projects seen directly by clients. Several initiatives I took on outside of my normal responsibilities was the creation of an SEO tools archive for DigitalRelvance's Content Strategists, as well as playing a key role in the research of a Content Centerpiece by connecting DigitalRelevance with the Office of International Affairs at IUPUI. This allowed them to conduct interviews and gain critical insight.Due to my work, I was able to receive an extension on my internship through June, thanks to a personal request by the VP of Client Solutions. I worked with him on several projects through June.

In this position, I create and design T-shirts, posters, and flyers for service events happening through our office. I also managed the 'Volunteer at IUPUI' Facebook page, which is was where I updated our then 1,187 friends on major and minor IUPUI service events happening all throughout the Indianapolis community.
