As a dedicated student in the Commerce Co-op program at Dalhousie University, I am on a path to not only excel academically but to also explore a keen interest in the world of finance. ⁤⁤My current and prior academic pursuits have equipped me with strong communication skills, a solid foundation in accounting principles, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, all of which I'm committed to continuously developing. ⁤Within my time running the Lawrence Park Finance Association, I was able to gain understanding of finance concepts on stock valuation and market trends, and was able to efficiently conduct meetings, aiding leadership traits. Through volunteer experiences, I have also obtained skills in organization as well as teamwork in ensuring that jobs are well done, and peers are collectively achieving success.In my past work experience at Spokes and Sports and Douglas Reid Renovations, I was tasked with preforming effectively within a fast paced work environment. Both experiences allowed me to practice my skills within a business, and provided new learning opportunities to continue to shape my business portfolio.Looking ahead, I am eager to apply these experiences to a career in finance where I can contribute meaningfully to an organization's success. My goal is to remain at the forefront of financial innovation, driving progress with both passion and precision.
