Sep 2015 - Jun 2017Current Product Engineering (CPE)/Lifecycle Program Manager for HP Converged Systems (HPCS)- Developed the role and program in HPCS HANA R&D for sustaining engineering on the HANA Converged Systems (SAP HANA appliances) for three (3) platforms, across four (4) generations of product.- Established the CPE Core Team for governance, planning, and execution of sustaining engineering activities.- Developed a repeatable process for producing and publishing regular system maintenance updates, known as the ConvergedSystem Update Release (CSUR). The CSURs are produced on a 6 month cycle per platform, resulting in 6 CSURs per year (between all three platforms.)- Drove development & documentation of HANA Custom Solution end-to-end cross-functional process.- Program Manage the roll out of platform capacity (add-on) upgrades for the HP ConvergedSystems for SAP HANA Gen 1.2, CS500, and CS900 CS HANA products.- Lead role in management of Deal Specific Requests (DSRs) for products and services working with Sales, Marketing, R&D/Engineering, Supply Chain/Production, Integration & Consulting Services, and Support to enable customers'​ special requests on large deals, typically $1-5M. More than $350M in actual/realized revenues generated from DSRs over 3.5 years.- Built and maintained SharePoint sites & lists for the management of DSRs for SAP HANA, and the CS700 & Hyper-Converged Converged Systems solutions. - Also architected and maintained SharePoint sites for HPE CS HANA Technical Documents, and the SAP Appliance Change Management (SACM) process for release of new and updated technical materials (bits, docs, scripts, and tools) to be used by the factory and Services organizations.- Use of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for managing programs from concept to sustainment.- Knowledge of Cloud Computing from competitor and technology research into cloud models, and how it may affect (is affecting) IT hardware vendors like HPE ands others.

Early Ship Program ManagerIn June 2013, joined the new HP Converged Systems business units as Early Ship Program Manager for a new HP Appliance System for SAP HANA. Managed a cross-functional team (Marketing, Prod Mgmt, Sales, R&D/Engineering, Supply Chain/Factory, Technology Services & Consulting, Enterprise Services & Consulting) chartered to make the new HP AppSystem available to select customers earlier than the Generally Available (GA) release. Established the ESP (Early Ship Program) Core team, and ramped from ESP proposal to Plan of Record (POR) state in one month.At completion, we *shipped & deployed* eleven (11) ConvergedSystems for SAP HANA Appliances via the Gen 1.2 ESP program (one more than planned) that drove revenue of almost $10M.

Mission Critical x86 (MCx86) Delivery Program Manager -04/12 - 05/13Drove the definition of the Service Pack solution for MCx86 planned Superdome X (SDX). Worked with partners in marketing, engineering, and support to define and plan the delivery of firmware and software to customers. Worked with fw & sw component partners to define content and make-ready the Mission Critical Service Pack (MCSP) for initial builds. Worked with engineering to build proof of concept, and complete early builds of the service pack. Started on project in April 2012, while transitioning out of the HP-UX program management roles and responsibilities.OEUR Mangement & Software Integration Coordination -05/04 - 03/12- Managed key areas associated with HP-UX maintenance update releases. The HP-UX Operating Environment Update Release (OEUR) Program Manager & Integration Cycle (IC) coordination roles involve managing and coordinating the incoming submittals of 100+ ISU (Independent Software Unit) products, integration of the products into the Operating Environments (OEs), defect escalation and resolution for critical defects, media builds for validation of manufacturing masters. - Over this 8 year period, helped to ramp-up and then transition all of the HP-UX Software Delivery management & integration work/activities to India for HPE Cost Savings.Software Delivery Management - 05/04 - 03/12- Create and maintain the HP-UX OE Update Release/Fusion schedules, and manage the hand-off of HP-UX releases into the Supply Chain/Manufacturing (including pre-Lab Release pilots and final software for factory ignition and media replication.) Participate in the HP-UX System & Core teams to represent the OE Update component processes and release delivery into Manufacturing.- Use of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for managing programs from concept to sustainment.-The above HP-UX roles and responsibilities formally ended in August 2012, after successful transition of ownership.

Involved managing SW Integration Cycles to ensure that the ICs stayed on-target and met the program's objectives. Operating Environment Update Release (OEUR) Program Manager -At inception of the HP-UX OEUR/Fusion program, led the OEUR Delivery team from strategic planning to implementation, and the first Lab & Ship release of the 11iv1 OE Update Release.
