EmpowerTech is a software development and IT Consulting company. EmpowerTech owns and supports FieldVision, an oil and gas data entry and reporting software, and provides web and mobile development services. We have been working with StartingUp Now to create a suite of web applications that supports their goals of entrepreneurship education. At EmpowerTech I led a team that developed web and mobile applications as well as business intelligence tools for oil and gas, board game companies, non-profit organizations and more.

At Berry Petroleum I worked on a variety of projects that included Web Development, Application Design, Data Modeling, Automation, ETL, and maintenance of BI tools. I used a variety of tools including VS 2017 to develop C# MVC Web applications and REST APIs, Perl for reporting and ETL, Oracle Application Express (APEX) for responsive web applications, PowerShell for automation tasks, and many other tools that were best suited for each of the projects that I worked on.

At TUMI I designed and developed 14 Web Applications. I was the lead developer for all stages of development including Business Analysis, Database Design and Implementation, Responsive Web Appplication Development, QA and UI Design. The web applications included reports, forms, and workflows. The database is an Oracle database and the web applications were built with Oracle Application Express (APEX), both of which are hosted on cloud services. We created a full implementation using AWS ECS and RDS, but in the end it was not the right fit so we transferred the database and applications to another cloud service.

I Developed and maintained responsive web applications using Oracle Application Express, ASP.NET MVC 4, and Perl. This included all aspects of development from Oracle database management to software logic and user interface. As a member of the Buisness Intelligence team, I assisted in diagnosing and resolving application bugs and enhancement requests.

Application development using Oracle Application Express for multiple applications including reporting portal, file storage applications, and data manipulation applications. Development of application usage and quality assurance manuals for IT personnel. Reporting portal management and maintenance as well as data analysis of application usage by end users. Ongoing repairs to company dashboard for daily and monthly production statistics. Development of proactive solutions to facilitate efficient usage of web applications.

Converted company reporting portal, containing over 200 reports, from Discoverer 10.0 to Oracle Application Express.Rebuilt all accounting reports in Toad for Data Analysts.Assisted in the implementation and testing of Hyperion Essbase Cubes.
