Ryan is 100% a people person, always in search of a new adventure. His upbringing, hobbies and work experience helped him develop a passion for helping others, working with people, creative design, and exploring new things. Ryan started working at an early age as a child actor in commercials, TV, and film. In addition to acting, athletics and school were very important. He started martial arts at 4 years old, earning 2 black belts in TaeKwonDo. He trained and preformed in XMA, tricking, and tumbling, leading to his first job as an assistant instructor at his martial arts studio. Ryan was promoted to lead instructor (2018-2022) and operations manager (2020-2022). He had the privilege to gain skills in customer service, intercultural communication, child development, leadership, marketing, systems development, and team management. This is when he entered the world of stunts.During high school, Ryan participated in the Medical Science Academy, becoming one of the program leaders. Here, he explored his growing interest in the medical field. This opportunity provided training in soft skills and introduction to the clinical setting. As a representative of the program, he was responsible for communicating & coordinating with medical professionals, school board members, executives, community members, and people of all walks of life. In this program, Ryan won state and national competitions in sports medicine and creative problem solving. Starting October 2019, Ryan started working for The Activation Group (TAG). Here he works live marketing, charity, and driving events for companies like BMW, Land Rover, and Bentley. Currently working as an Event Lead and Performance Driving Instructor. Ryan continues to be an adventure seeker through stunts/entertainment and life. He has trained as a stunt driver, done multiple live fire burns, repelled down cliffs and got his Open Water Dive certification. Ryan has participated in many community events involving mental health. He also works as a professional photographer, utilizing the name Ryan Anthony Media. While at UCSB, Ryan is working towards a B.S. in Psychological & Brain Sciences and works in the Szumlinski Lab at UCSB's Neuroscience Research Institute. He worked as a 911 EMT primarily in Inglewood, Compton, & South LA. Currently he works as a set medic and monitor tech in the ICU. He is working to build clinical and foundational knowledge that will prepare him for medical school. Currently, Ryan aspires to be a Pediatric ER Doctor and is determined to help people every chance he gets.
