Was hired by new ownership group to improve attendance and increase overall revenue. Responsible for all ticket sales operations and managed sales department that generated over $2.7 million of revenue in 2011. Revamped ticket sales strategies and retrained sales staff in order to grow attendance. Resulted in an 11% growth in attendance including the highest attended Chicago Rush home game since 2008 (10,582).As EVP, group ticket sales increased 77% and reached over $120,000 for nine home games in 2011. Developed multiple group sales initiatives and inventories that led to the improvement. Recreated and developed the Chicago Rush Youth Football Ironman Award, an award given out to kids in youth football programs. Initiative was responsible for nearly $24,000 in group sales and filled over an additional 2,500 seats for home opener. Strengthened lead database with targeted name captures which aided in increased mini-plan ticket sales.Mini-plan ticket sales increased 142% and reached over $50,000 in revenue in 2011. Marketed to past season ticket holders with specific promotions such as the ‘Rush Legends Pack.’ This particular ticket plan gave the buyer tickets to both games that the Rush was honoring past players with jersey retirement ceremonies.Managed and developed all major projects and events as team leader. Responsible for overall vision, implementation and execution by team for projects such as the “Red Cross Teddy Bear Toss” – a fundraising event for American Red Cross and an image builder for the Chicago Rush. Event was first of its kind in the AFL.Grew team exposure and brand awareness with new public relations initiatives. Created and executed the public contract offer to NFL free agent Terrell Owens. Over 23 million television viewers were exposed to the “Chicago Offers T.O. Contract” which was valued at over $2 million dollars of national publicity exposure.
