Responsible for the direction and creative integrity of all media deliverables—print and digital design, photography and video production, OOH, social media, events and experiential marketing. Articulated and defended creative strategy, responded to client RFPs, wrote and edited copy, guided progress of creative solutions, and protected the overarching voice of creative. Instrumental in conceiving, selling and executing some of the most profitable branded content campaigns in the magazine’s history. Developed signature Rolling Stone franchises, including the RS Rock Room, RS Private Concert Series, and RS Fest. Played a critical role in all aspects of production—casting talent, hiring artists, managing budgets, art directing photo and video shoots, designing, editing and pre-press finishing. Cultivated relationships and negotiated fees with vendors, clients and artists.
