    Madison, Wi, Us
Did computational / bioinformatic work in a X-ray crystallography lab. The first 5 years were all in silico, but then I spent the last year at the bench putting some of the predictions in practice. Developed and used a sequence-based method to improve the thermal stability of an enzyme. Used X-ray crystallography to determine the structure of the mutated enzymes and draw further conclusions. Also did several smaller projects involving data mining the Protein Data Bank.
