I led media relations and an executive positioning program for the region encompassing 10 states and more than 10,000 employees to enhance Accenture’s reputation as a partner of choice and top employer. I helped achieve top share of voice ranking during fiscal year 2020 (September 2019 – August 2020) in Boston, New York and Philadelphia markets through commentary on trends, individual and employer awards, and speaking engagements with national and local media including Bloomberg, Crain’s New York Business and Philadelphia Business Journal. Prior to joining Accenture I worked at Capgemini, a company that provides consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.I helped double top-tier media coverage in first year with placements in national and trade outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, and CIO.com, and increased share of voice year-over-year by understanding news cycles and breaking down technical information into media-ready messages. I coordinated media relations, thought leadership content creation, executive communications plans, client storytelling and crisis communications for our North American management consulting, application services, and infrastructure business units spanning all sectors (retail, consumer products, energy, healthcare, etc.) and strategic initiatives (cloud, innovation, digital, supply chain, etc.).Additionally, I advised marketing team members how to leverage global campaigns, research, client engagements, and the expertise of executives to generate media coverage and create content that shows how Capgemini helps its clients improve growth and competitiveness, while also improving the firm’s external profile. For example, I secured media placements for clients in top-tier business and trade media, including a recurring column opportunity on Forbes.com for a management consultant and author that helped increase website traffic for his firm by 400 percent over two years, and contributed to a 186 percent spike in e-book sales over a six week period During my time at Stern I worked with an executive compensation consulting firm, a nonprofit think tank focused on the education and healthcare sectors, an onboarding consulting firm, a for-profit education provider and multiple business book authors.I was promoted four times while at the firm.
