Leading the design implementation and monitoring of results of all marketing strategies for Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. and its affiliates.• Lead the strategic planning and execution for the effective marketing of Acts and its communities• Develop and implement systems that consistently track results and effectiveness of individual and partner marketing tactics and regularly report on the results and how they impact marketing plan decision• Manage the implementation of promotional tactics and support all areas of marketing• Ensure adherence to Acts brand standards throughout all marketing initiatives

Leading the creation and deployment of digital initiatives for 26 retirement communities:• Continuous management of website, including content, design and functionality• Direction of digital content creation, including infographics, e-newsletters, articles for website and social media, interactive floor plans, brochures, online bookstore content, photography, video library, virtual tours, etc.• Work with digital marketing agency to facilitate continuous improving results with Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing• Digital distribution of Acts publications• Tracking of marketing source responses, web forms, landing pages, call-tracking numbers and emails.• Collaborate with company IT department on company projects, including resident portal, digital sign communication, and other company-wide digital communications• Collaboration on social media tactics, including paid and organic campaigns

• Identify situations and events that could be newsworthy to promote benefits of Acts Retirement-Life Communities• Interview residents, employees and others to evaluate opportunities for media coverage• Develop and maintain strong relationships with members of the local/regional/national media• Write press releases and publicity articles about community news and relevant senior living topics• Serve as company spokesperson in media situations• Provide editorial support for corporate publications, website and internal communications

Directing and managing community and public relations and creating PlayBall fan program.• Linking the company brand with the local community while acting as a public advocate for the organization• Developing and implementing internal and external communications that support corporate objectives, goals, values and brand• Communicating with local organizations and non-profit groups to fulfill the organization’s goal of quality community service• Organizing and managing community service initiatives, including volunteer and fundraising programs• Assisting with media relations duties, including writing press releases and fielding media inquiries and interviews• Fielding community donation requests• Developing and executing company communication campaigns, activities and programs• Creating and managing social media content (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)• Hiring and managing mascot performers, including scheduling community appearances and managing performer budget• Hiring and managing community relations college interns• Creating and editing content, layout and graphic design for the PlayBall program, a free program given out at each home game

Responsible for writing and editing company’s internal and external communication, as well as researching and locating possible candidates for placement via social media websites such as LinkedIn.• Creating, writing and editing content for company internal newsletter• Creating mass email campaigns for the purpose of acquiring new candidates• Scouring Internet for individuals who fit necessary skills, education and experience• Marketing tasks and writings associated with obtaining new candidates and client companies

Most notable being: Bill Cosby, comedian/actor; George Carlin, late comedian/actor; Vince Gill, Grammy winning singer and songwriter; Jim Breuer, comedian/actor and former Saturday Night Live cast member.• Updating company’s website, including preparing articles for immediate Web release• Editing personal copy as well as others’ writings• Daily pagination duties, including page layout and design and organization of stories• Weekly blogging on local cultural arts scene• Updating company’s internal databases• Proofreading newspaper pages to prepare for immediate release
