• Advised the Vice President for Federal Relations on the growth of UNC Partnership for National Security, a multi-faceted effort to connect North Carolina’s 17 public universities with the U.S. military. • Founding member of UNC SERVES, a veterans education initiative that has impacted over 3,000 students and been nationally recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs. • Established and maintained relationships with representatives from state and local governments, defense industries, and military commands in order to form collaborative partnerships with UNC.
