I work in a multifaceted role with MID Solutions combining my experience and skills as a design engineer, project manager and structural engineer. I am currently involved with project management and delivery of Telstra and Optus upgrade and greenfield projects. I enjoy collaborating with all stakeholders on a project to work through complex sites and provide optimised site designs.

As a design engineer at Aurecon, my experience involved design and delivery of both Telstra wireless greenfield and upgrade sites, including extensive experience with 5G design. On a number of occasions I also stepped into roles to manage the delivery and reporting for packages of sites.I had valuable experience working as the Telstra design lead on the Victorian State Government funded “Regional Rail Connectivity Project”. This project was a collaboration between Telstra, Optus and Vodafone, along with VicTrack and VLine. The project was funded to design and build 35 greenfield sites, servicing blackspots along the rail corridor. During this project I was involved in all stages, from scoping and site selection, through to design and collaborating with the build team.Where possible, I was involved in wider areas of the Aurecon business. I was a member of the safe design team for the Built Environment unit and was also a member of the Aurecon Health and Safety committee. These were both valuable experiences that allowed me to interact with other areas of the business, and have a positive impact on the wider team.

Managed the construction of fixed-line telecommunications network projects. In this role I worked within a team to manage multiple civil crews and technicians. It also involved having to communicate with external parties including clients, suppliers and carriers.
