Responsible for innovative software development for Mercedes-Benz connected vehicles with a focus on highly available APIs and in-car vehicle services leveraging cloud technologies.Working closely with teams in Stuttgart (frequent travels to Germany) for ideation, development, specification, testing of architectures and software modules for cloud services. I am responsible for understanding and advocating stakeholder needs, facilitating regular communication, ensuring that stakeholder expectations are met, and resolving dependencies for other team members.

Leads product development for the Research Platform product line.● Implementing the HDC Data Platform, a pivotal product consisting of a data hub and data lake that simplifies data integration and consolidation as well as supporting analytic and external applications. Utilizing its data API layer, researchers have reduced the time it takes to answer short research questions from weeks to days.● Launched HutchNER, the Hutch’s Clinical Natural Language Processing (NLP) service, and Abstraction Review workflow products. HutchNER and Abstraction Review aided manual patient chart abstraction of unstructured clinical documents resulting in an increase of daily abstraction throughput by 20%.● Created a de-identification web service that replaces PHI in unstructured clinical documents through resynthesis (hiding in plain sight). Service created in 1 month. Resulted in successfully replacing 99% of all PHI for 500+ documents. Will be a service leveraged within the HDC Data Platform.● Delivered 3 predictive models and accompanying analytic reports for the ‘Smart Quit’ smoking cessation mobile app that identified usage trajectories and associations between application use and the reduction in smoking or the quitting of smoking.● Member of HDC leadership aiding with developing, operationalizing, and continuously improving the Hutch Data Commonwealth’s success and strategy execution.● Led Product Management team to establish required project deliverables and templates.● One of three of Team Foundation Server (TFS) administrators for our division.● Attended Hadoop Summit. Responsible for introducing, sharing, and piloting big data concepts with the engineering teams.

Developed and managed the Hutch Integrated Data Repository and Archive (HIDRA) product suite. Worked closely with world-class researchers and labs throughout the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center community and its Cancer Consortium partners to understand their needs in order to define a backlog of features and functionality while ensuring that the products being delivered meet the requirements of the customer. ● Launched centralized Electronic Lab Notebook solution across the center by gathering requirements from 35 labs throughout the center in order to distribute a RFP. Improved project collaboration by 15%, reduced time searching through notebooks by 50%, and provided a method to capture and retain Intellectual Property.● Implemented performance testing process based on defined target performance goals and testing metrics for the Argos application. Argos’ performance improved by ~50% due to these efforts. ● Interviewed over 40 labs to gather requirements and uses cases for implementing a center-wide bio-specimen management solution for 800 users to manage 3 million bio-specimen samples. A pilot implementation is currently under assessment with expectations of full center availability the 2nd half of 2018.● Facilitated the selection of Team Foundation Server (TFS) as our source control and agile project management tool. Successfully implemented a pilot scrum project in a 2-month timeframe. Led to the required use of TFS for new products for project, backlog, user story and bug tracking, code source control and internal product/project documentation.● Improved business process for the Informatics department request management workflow. Led to the use of a centralized system to effectively log and track all requests. Increased number of completed requests by ~25%.

Led the design, analysis and development efforts and executed the product strategy and roadmap for the next generation Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) products. Generated product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria based on client and market feedback/input. Formulated product opportunities from idea repository and created value propositions ensuring alignment with the business strategy to improve market share. Coordinated development and product delivery with cross-functional teams located in MN, TX, India and UAE.● Designed next generation License Plate manufacturing application, which works in conjunction with the new License Plate printer, enabling clients to manufacture license plates 33% quicker in an hour. ● Established 2 new contracts over a one-year period valued up to $1.7 million by performing business process opportunity assessments, a business process evaluation of a client’s current solution and product fit assessment geared to improve production efficiency. Managed the Vehicle Registration Services (VRS) product line and gathered business requirements, defined business rules, documented client processes, and aided with support tickets for the current client base.● Mentored and shared my skills, knowledge, and experience with an aspiring business analyst internship for one year.
