Developed a new microservices approach to handling incoming and outgoing data (EDI) (i.e. automatically accepting, denying, updating loads) to move the current company process off a single-threaded application.Worked with the EDI team to convert legacy VB to .NET Core. Data was coded to pass through several services and queues to allow the Coyote to increase throughput while maintaining security.

Worked on Coyote Logistics RouteConnect scheduling system for the UPS expedite network. External parties could dispatch and track UPS loads using this internal website. RouteConnect was a React front-end against a C# Web API. The system also contained many Azure Functions, pipelines, Kubernetes clusters,docker images, queue and buses to handle the amount of data.- Implemented 3 additional Azure Functions to allow UPS to update times and trailer numbers for loads. - Implemented functionality to show users an estimated ETA of a load when the destination location was chosen- Assisted in the transition of company code from DevOps to GitHub- Built several new pipelines with corresponding Terraform & IaC- Configured Kubernetes instances to better handle traffic depending on startup state of application

Integrated and implementing a new Energy Management System (EMS) to make decisions and reports based on energy usage. Automated the collection and translation of electric and gas data for import into the EMS. Imported 5 years of data for hundreds of buildings (Around a million data points to-date). Created scripts to expedite the process of integrating buildings and systems into the EMS - goal of 10 per year became 2 per week. Helped pilot the full integration of 3 buildings starting with data collection followed by energy alerts. The energy alerts were used to make recommendations to management to reduce energy usage and save on energy utility costs.

Extracted and analyzed code for Siemens Dematic conveyor logic created by our vendors and presented to management on the additional output that could be generated by improving the logic. Developed VBA algorithms to determine optimal assignment of workers per shipping lane. Created case counter device to allow engineers to count cases at any conveyor using laser detection.
