My practice is focused mainly on bankruptcy and foreclosure related matters. I represent Chapter 7 trustees in all aspects of Bankruptcy proceedings, as well as creditors and debtors in the New Hampshire Bankruptcy court. Worked as the law clerk for the Administrative Hearings Officer in the Local Government Center case on remand from the New Hampshire Supreme Court. Attended meetings and hearings, conducted research, and drafted memos and orders for the hearing officer.

Working with law clerks and judges, researched and drafted opinions, jury instructions, and memos. Attended court hearings and trial.

Working mainly with the Civil and Transportation Bureaus, drafted various motions in limine, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment. Attended court hearings and meetings with different state agencies that the Attorney General represents. Conducted research and legislative histories for senior attorneys. Rule 36 certified.

Review various creditor proof of claim submissions to ensure compliance with non-disclosure of debtor’s personally identifying information, and draft letters when violations are discovered. Conduct Means Test Review analysis of debtors’ bankruptcy petitions to determine if they are presumptively abusive. Draft motions to dismiss bankruptcy petitions for cause. Attended bankruptcy hearings at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court as well as various section 341 meetings of creditors.

Help low-income clients determine if bankruptcy is advantageous, or if another avenue will better suit their needs.Research and write memos on bankruptcy and consumer protection issues.Conduct phone and office interviews of potential clients.
