As a professional triathlete & USAT certified triathlon coach, from 2010 - 2013 Ryan coached triathletes and runners of all abilities, and those focusing on various race distances from sprint distance to Ironman, and 5k to ultramarathon. He served athletes throughout the US and beyond, with athletes based in Colorado, Texas, California, Washington, Canada, and the Virgin Islands.

Ryan had the opportunity to serve as an accountant at MedBridge Development Co. - a leading provider in ambulatory surgery center (ASC) development & management in California. At MedBridge, Ryan was responsible for all accounting duties for multiple ASCs throughout California, as well as assisting with all Spanish-speaking and translation needs. In February, 2008, he received MedBridge's employee of the month award.

Ryan played a key role in the foundation of the track & field program at Providence Hall, a Santa Barbara college prep high school as the program's first coach. He also served as an assistant basketball coach. With his love for both kids and athletics, using his experience as a high level athlete & coach Ryan was able to help motivate kids to succeed on and off the court.
