• Managed credit underwriting process for middle market clients and prospects with annual revenue from $2.5 million to $750 million, including syndicated and asset based facilities, project finance opportunities and traditional sole and club deals.• Structure, underwrite and review financial and industry information to determine if loan is an acceptable risk.• Responsible for credit underwriting including industry and company research, Blue memo preparation and presenting financing proposal, including customer and prospect calls, and various other sales/customer oriented projects.• Prepare documentation required for the processing of loans, reviews status of existing loans, takes appropriate action on maturing loans or past due, and in loan closings.

• Managed approximately $15 million in annual revenue with over 175 clients in western NC and upstate SC.• Responsible for delivering wholesale and Public Finance banking solutions in Global Commercial Bank Group, focused on government entities including counties, cities, school districts, and related municipal authorities.• Focus on delivering investment, treasury and credit solutions, card and electronic payment services, and Public Finance.• In 2007, 103% to goal, total revenue increase of 12%; ranked in top 5% of client managers in East Region.• In 2008, 124% of composite goal (110% revenue and 160% pipeline); ranked in top 20% in national HIG group.

• Structured unsecured, first lien, second lien, and covenant-light loans for companies and PEGs and syndicated participations in those loans, as Sole Lead Arranger and Book Manager in most cases, to commercial banks and institutional investors. • Financed acquisitions (on an underwritten and best efforts basis, including Bridge Facilities), LBOs, share buybacks, dividend recapitalizations, working capital, and CP back-up facilities.• Negotiated terms and conditions of syndicated loans, including commitment and fee letters, credit agreements, performance-related and technical amendments, and sub-par Term Loan B buybacks. • Led bank meetings to launch syndications and spoke on behalf of Banc of America Securities as Lead Arranger. • In 2006, received the Award of Excellence, given to the top 1% of employees in the company for work with leveraged finance group and Carolinas Middle Market team.
