About Ryan Bowhay

Ryan is a true western Canadian. He grew up in Stony Plain, Alberta and completed his education at the Alberta School of Business (U of A). With strong roots and ingrained Alberta values, the oilfield service industry was a natural fit. After spending three years selling construction equipment, Ryan joined The Crossing Company in a sales role and moved to Calgary to be closer to clients and expand business opportunities. Ryan was promoted to Business Development Manager in 2005, to VP, Corporate Development in 2008 and Senior Vice President of The Crossing Group in 2017.Since 2003, Ryan has collaborated with colleagues and clients in developing solutions to complex pipeline construction challenges, including resource management, identifying and understanding available technologies, and assessing project risks. Ryan acts strategically, is operationally focused, and has a strong commitment to safety and people.
