About Ryan Branciforte

I have always had a passion for using technology to support good conservation work and get people outside. After starting my career with the National Park Service, I was fortunate to spend a few years at the Sonoma Ecology Center learning how to work within a dedicated community at the local level, then a number of years at GreenInfo Network learning why good data and great maps are so important! Until late 2013, I led programs at the Bay Area Open Space Council where in 2008 I started working on an innovative regional conservation plan for the San Francisco Bay Area, the Conservation Lands Network. I also helped to start Transit & Trails while at the Council in 2008. As a result of my continued love of technology and getting people outside I recently cofounded OuterSpatial where an amazing team is focused on building innovative technologies that connect people with the outdoors.
