A specialist role, I was part of a two-person team executing direct marketing for Contact Energy’s 400,000+ customer base.– Coordinated the delivery of the largest revenue campaigns via email and paper channels. Collaborated with colleagues as part of three Agile squads, designed data-driven communications, briefed external mailhouses/agencies, proofed tests and data, and supplied basic reporting.– Deployed SMS campaigns as the sole internal resource who could do so.– Took responsibility for the design and upkeep of printed documentation sent to customers. This was a very technical process requiring Adobe, SAP, and mailhouse expertise.– Uploaded copies of marketing correspondence to customer accounts, helping CSRs with difficult conversations and improving organisational awareness of campaigns.

An administrative position to tide myself over whilst getting married.– Supervised multiple enquiry streams, addressing concerns of high-value customers, and formulating long-term relationships with external contractors.– Allocated work to peers and assisted them with any hurdles, providing training and documentation support.– Performed critical quality assurance checks for automation initiatives, saving Contact Energy thousands of dollars in highlighting technical errors others had failed to notice.
